Business areas of the HydroCom GmbH are the development of propeller systems and turbines in the field of regenerative energies. The Engineers working at HydroCom are experienced developer in the field of flow modeling and dimensioning of composite structures. They are working in this area of development for several years now.

The HydroCom GmbH offers the development and production of various applications from the idea to the finished product. This includes the dimensioning of the blades, the fluid mechanical and structural dimensioning, the propeller design as well as the development of the production process, the mould production and blade manufacturing. The blades are built using fiber reinforced polymers offering excellent performance characteristics as a high fatigue limit, a good chemical resistance and a very good cost effectiveness.

The blades are used in the field of regenerative energies, such as small wind turbines (3 to 10 kW), tidal power plants, hydro power plants or as agitator in biogas power plants. Furthermore the blades are used for vessel propulsion and agitators for waste water.

The HydroCom GmbH produces Propellers as prototypes or in small series. The size of the propellers varies from a few centimeters up to few meters.
